different photo day experience!
Maui School Picture Day
When I was growing up I never really liked school picture day. Back then, it was all rushed and was missing the care that I felt kids deserved. So I decided that if I was going to be on the other side of the camera taking the photos, I would make it an experience that kids look forward to and enjoy! In order to make that happen, I work side by side with my comedy sidekick (aka my husband) and we work on getting the laughs (and the occasional eye roll, which we love too).
Rather than the usual "sit, smile, click, and done" in under 30 seconds, we take a little longer with each student to connect with them, have a few laughs so their smiles look a little more natural, and create a positive association with school picture day.
